New Teeth
Cecilia is growing some new teeth! She already has 4 teeth all the way out. They're the top and bottom middle two. She's more than willing to try them out on anything. The newbies joining the party are the two just off of the middle two on the top. So, if I didn't explain that very well, then she'd have the middle 4 up top. On had already broken skin, and the other is right there.
I think what's interesting about these new teeth is that she hasn't really let on that they're coming in. With her previous teeth, she'd get a slight fever/temperature, and maybe refuse to eat as much, or something like that. She's been chewing on her finger, but not even doing that very much. She just puts her index finger in there, and let's it sit there off to the side. She doesn't suck on it, or really gum it to death at all. Just a curious little thing.
On a related, but unrelated note, she's walking much more/better now. She'll go 10 feet, very intentionally and full of purpose, from one thing to another. She's able to round corners on her own. It isn't necessary for her to have somebody to coax her into walking. She'll initiate it all by herself. It's really cool to watch, and I'll have to get some video footage of it to post for people to see. You'll probably see that link over at Palook Central though I'm sure I'll mention it here.
Cecilia: You know those nice new teeth you have coming in? Be careful with them. Never, ever, ever try to jump a curb on a scooter. You'll fly mouth-first into a sidewalk and have porcelain in your mouth for the rest of your life. That happened to.. a.. friend of mine once. That's all I have to say about that.
