The Flower Sniffer
She likes flowers. For whatever reason, we've encouraged her, and somehow taught her to smell them. So, whenever she sees flowers, she wants to smell them, thinking that it's the only proper thing to do. If they're too high for her, then she'll point up to them and start sniffing - our clue to pick her up and get her to their height. Not all flowers look the same though… those tricky phones with that little star sure do look like a flower.
Just yesterday she got some new shoes. Her feet were/are growing, and she only fits into one pair. With a little convincing, Maria went out and bought a couple new pairs of shoes with her. The best part is that while they were trying on one particular set, Cecilia kept smelling her shoes… because of the pretty flowers adorning them. Can't blame her for trying to enjoy nature.
On another note, Cecilia has now climbed her first piece of furniture. She's been trying for a while to get onto the couch, but that wasn't her victim. She scaled the rocking chair (put her left leg up first, grabbed onto the bars in the back or on the side, and pulled herself the rest of the way up), rearranged herself, and started rocking just like she usually does. Anyway, just thought I would share. :)
