Act Surprised
She'll do it if you ask her to. She'll do it if you don't ask her to. Combine the raised eyebrows with the wide open mouth, and a slightly downward tilted head… and you've got yourself a surprised little 16 month old girl. Not only will she act surprised for you (at the most random times), but she'll even scare you if you ask her to. Nothing really scares me more than a little person repeatedly walking around the corner and saying "Boo!" Seriously though, it's pretty cool.
There's nothing secret about it. I think she's pretty cool. She gets surprised at just about anything. I walk in the door from work, and there she is… surprised. She'll do it when you show her something new, or when you ask her any 'ol question. She'll do it in a box, and with a fox, she does indeed like green eggs and ham she acts surprised at any moment.
The best part about her scaring you is that she just keeps doing it, as long as you "get scared" by her. She'll walk around the corner, and slightly slunch herself over right before straightening herself out, making her eyes really big, and saying that oh-so-famous line. She'll walk back around the corner, only to come right back and do a repeat performance. "If you act scared, they will come." Thanks Field of Dreams.
