Two, no, wait... Three with One Stone
We're supposed to be impressed when people say they've killed two birds with one stone - if those are real kills, or just being efficient. If that's the pinnacle of efficiency, then how am I supposed to feel when I catch three mice in one trap… in one night? Efficientest? Coolestest? Bestest everest? Some of you may be tired of reading about my various adventures in mouse-ocide, but when they're not getting into my house any longer (4 weeks of sanity, and counting), I get sick pleasure out of killing the little SoM's. I feel like I need to share in my joy with others. FYI, I caught another one in a tin cat last night as well. Four in one night is a record for me, and now bumps my total number up to 22 mice (yeah, sick). The other day when we saw one of our neighbors, he asked how things where going, at which point I gave him an update (not sure why he doesn't read my blog), and he told me that he might start calling me “Killer”. I think I'll stick with “Pedro”.
Oh I like 'killer' Granted it's not something you want your neighbor shouting at you when pick up the paper.
I think something like Peter el Super Asesino de Ratón!
Congratu-freakin'-lations! That's awesome!! I think I definitely have an extra sense of joy for you, due to the relation of experiences. 3 in one trap is pretty amazing.
Good work, Pedro. Perhaps you could convince your wife that you need a flamethrower for Christmas as a more Terminatorish means of eliminating them varmints.
P.S. The "Remember personal info?" checkboxes in MT 4 don't ever seem to work.
#23 last night. Again, in dead-man's corner... er... dead-mouse's corner.
4 last night. 1 in that same corner, then three in tin cats on the balcony. It's been funny to see how out-of-control the mice go when a storm is approaching. Apparently their tiny little bodies can sense that, and they do what they can to prepare for it. 27 down, hundreds, or thousands to go (curse those fields).
I thought I had documented more of these little things, but I guess I didn't. I just know that on December 17th (or close to there), I caught another outside, which brought my count to 30, then just a couple nights later I caught 3 more in that same tin cat, and another in the tin cat next to that. Those 4 brought my count to 34.
Last night we caught one by our front door in that sticky trap (thanks to a tip by our neighbors that they had accidentally scared one into the trap), and another back in the tin cat that already had 4 (dead mice) in it. Sick. 36? Three dozen is too much.
One last night in the other tin cat, another the night before in the party cat. 38. (I'm just documenting these small victories for when we approach the HOA or the city about this issue. I know nobody here cares anymore)
