Halloween 2008
Despite the rain this evening, the two of them brought in somewhere between eight and nine pounds of candy, almost certainly because of their costumes:
Props to Maria for making Cecilia's awesome witch garb (sans broom/hat), as well as Becky's adorable pumpkin getup. Becky wouldn't tolerate her hat for any amount of time which would have allowed us to take a picture, let alone trick-or-treat. Armed with a “scary” laugh, and full knowledge of The Wicked Witch of the West, Cecilia had a blast trick-or-treating, while Becky hung out in the stroller for the most part. I imagine Cecilia is already looking forward to next year.

they do look stinking adorable! good job mary!
Way to go, Maria! I love that Ceci is a good enough sport to bust out the full witch make-up and everything. The two of them are SO CUTE!!
Great costumes. I can't believe how big they are both getting.
Wow! Ceci and Liza were twins for Halloween - and we didn't even know. I like the idea of the green wig, too. Liza didn't have that, but she pored over my books from the musical Wicked and was convinced she needed green hands and a green face to be truly wicked. :) The girls look so dang cute. What a fun holiday!
Totally unrelated: I was really pleased that the green paint/make-up didn't require tough scrubbing or some chemical to get it to come off. In fact, I used a total of three baby wipes to get it to come off – far less than I thought it would need. I thought for sure I was about to experience a crying party about how much it hurt to remove. A+ to whoever that company is that made the stuff (too bad I threw away to box).
