4 Going on 14
Cecilia recently complained about an earache. She's been swimming almost daily for a month, and I imagine she might just have some mild swimmer's ear… or maybe one of her dozens of dead rollie polies/pillbugs got out of its jar and climbed in there. Who knows? As I was thinking about my options of how to take care of her, I picked up and started looking at the newest Lego catalog. Noticing my diversion, she pointed out that “Looking at Lego's isn't going to help my ear.” You're right. My bad. Back to you.
When our girls were heavy swimmers out doctor advised keeping a 50/50 mix of vinegar and rubbing alcohol around and put a drop in their ears after swimming. The vinegar changed the pH and the alcohol killed things. The resulting hostile environment kept away swimmers ear. We never had a case after that.
I know you'll see this rather than facebook, plus it seems you've made it so people can't write on your wall. So Happy Birthday! I believe you are one year away from the big one, so enjoy this one!
Just tell her you can make a cool Lego tool that will fix her ear... on second thought, that could lead to a Lego in the ear... on third thought, that would be great blog material, so I am back to the Lego tool.
