Undoubtedly you'll see another link to this one, but Steve Jobs publicly defends Apple's position on Flash. It's a well constructed piece, and finishes even better: "New open standards created in the mobile era, such as HTML5, will win on mobile devices (and PCs too). Perhaps Adobe should focus more on creating great HTML5 tools for the future, and less on criticizing Apple for leaving the past behind." [Via]

I know at least one Pop-Tart lover who would probably love to eat these, but is too lazy to make them. Well, if you include me in that, then there's two.

I've been beta testing it for the past few months. If you own a Mac, and ever do any sort of FTP, you should buy this software. I love the new Transmit Disk they added in this version. Hot stuff. Great work by a great company.

Although my wife would never allow it, I think it'd be awesome to have this chair in my front room. Very, very cool. [Via]

I don't anticipate publishing a novel in my life, but I love this poster, humor and all. My multi-year love of most things McSweeney's continues. [Via]
A wonderful collection of mock book art for a novelization of The Wizard of Oz. If you can get visually past the weird animated graphics on the page, you'll see just how awesome the work is.
A size comparison of 100 characters from various Pixar films/shorts. I can hear my kids watching WALL E as I type. [Via]
My domination as king of water balloon fights would have only been increased by the awesomeness of this. $10? Sign me up. [Via]

Eggs poached in a spicy tomato sauce? We will be making this in my home. It looks delicious.
