I wish this would have existed when I was a kid. This blog is full of patterns and drawings that are just waiting to be colored. Although I really liked a lot of these, I've printed off #2 and #54 to revisit my colored pencil collection. Kudos to Carlton Hibbert (the blog's author) for doing this. Truly awesome.

The tube station at Notting Hill underwent renovation in/around 1956-1959. During the process they sealed off a portion of the passageways, and left things as they were, including this set of advertisements on the walls, which were only recently discovered.

A bus driver in Copenhagen gets a surprise birthday song by the passengers on his bus and a random group of "protesters" in the street along his route. He's obviously immensely touched/moved by the experience, and I'll admit I was as well. Very cool.

I've tried (unsuccessfully) to make one, and generally prefer a fried egg over easy... but for some reason I keep being drawn towards poached eggs. Now I have yet another technique to try. Hint: wrap the egg in microwaveable clingwrap before putting it in water.

It's a well constructed piece, and finishes even better: "New open standards created in the mobile era, such as HTML5, will win on mobile devices (and PCs too). Perhaps Adobe should focus more on creating great HTML5 tools for the future, and less on criticizing Apple for leaving the past behind."
