2006.04.24 Windshield Wiper Speed

It's raining again. It seems that some people have no concept of matching their windshield wiper speed with the amount of rain that is falling on their windshield. Maybe they're oblivious to the sound of their wipers doing that whole semi-wet rubber skipping across glass. Even if they're not making that noise, they're still going faster than a fat guy towards an open buffet line.

2006.04.19 Office Co-Workers

I've only tried to write about this now four times. This time though, I'm determined. Originally I was going to write about the Karpman Drama Triangle, then it was that same thing, but with regards to work, then I was just going to write about people who always think their life is the worst or they're the busiest or the most stressed (generally those who constantly play the victim role in that triangle), and now I'm going to just talk about people at work in general and the roles they play.

I really enjoy music. Throughout the dating experience of Maria and I, and continuing into marriage, I have made her CD's which she can listen to. I originally made them as a sort of a souvenir for a specific date, where the disc was the soundtrack for a date, and she got to keep a copy. Yeah, it's a little cheesy, but it worked well enough to get her to marry me. I really only have this here for sharing purposes. You might find a song you like, you might not.

2006.04.10 Candy Organization

I organize my candy before I eat it. I'm not sure exactly why I do it, but I do. Maria would probably claim that it's my OCD showing through once again. I would contend that it gives me an activity to do while I do another activity - the super multi-tasker showing through again.

2006.04.04 April Fools

I'm a full supporter of April Fools. I admit that I am one of those people who enjoys playing tricks on people throughout the year… so I'm certainly in favor of a day dedicated to things of that nature. I don't care what the roots of the day are, nor how it's probably derived from some pagan, satanic, or polytheist tradition.

Too many people seem too focused on that sort of crap. Currently _________ is a harmless day. Get over it.

The biggest shocker is that this year went by without event. Yes, I'm ashamed as well.
