Surveys at the end of a class are understandable. You want to see how well you performed, so you come up with a way for your students to 'anonymously' submit feedback so you can improve your future classes. What I don't understand is when you do almost none of the instruction, and still expect the feedback.

Some of you might have noticed, but I never really pointed it out… but I added the Billboard Year-End charts over there on the side. They were one of the first things that I put on PabloNoEsta.com, but aligning with the new site themes, they have found their way over here. In addition to adding the Billboard stuff, I moved the Longbored Photos over to Plogger. It's not the greatest, but it works a bit better with the multiple themes that I have. Let me tell you about this stuff.

I was approached to create a simple site to aide in the selling of a home. Though originally I think they only wanted a page or two (like the vast majority of sites like that), I decided to give them a bit more for the money, and add a couple slick features. Welcome to the new home of Longbored Surfer. Nothing should look different, because nothing is different from your point of view. We've moved to a server with a bit more space, and with improved up-time. The price isn't the same as what I had before, but it's still pretty decent. In case you hadn't noticed the cool little theme changer down in the bottom right of the page, under the 'Geeky Junx' section, you can now swap themes of the site. I'm working out some of the finer details of it, but overall it's pretty cool. Sorry for the downtime and lack of updates. I was just waiting for this all to get sorted out.

I went to Jiffy Lube recently for my annual safety and emissions inspections. My car is a bit older than most, but it still works like a charm. To make a long story short, it failed the safety inspection. The guy was nice enough to point out a small hole in my exhaust (not the one at the end, but one in the middle of the pipes/tubes), complain that my rear window's brake signal was covered by tinting (despite the fact that it's always been covered, and this exact same guy has let me slide for the past 3 or 4 years), and my front-left turn signal was out.
