I'm pleased to announce that I'll be moving the server. Hopefully it won't be too obvious to you all. Right now, if you go to http://longboredsurfer.com it actually forwards you on to a subdomain of http://pablonoesta.com. So, even though I own the domain name, I don't have it hosted on its own. I'm stepping away from that though, and I'll be moving it to it's own hosting place.

In honor of nothing, I've added a couple new things that might be worth noting:
- The newest Cook's Illustrated recipes are available on Palook Central. Check them out over there.
- Comments are now accepted here at The Longbored Surfer. I'm not sure what on earth you could have to say about anything I've done/said, but it's an option to

I've added a new photo section to LBS. It's nothing special, but it works. I have to say that I really like Simple PHP Gallery. The dude's website seems to always be down, like he hasn't paid his bill, or he gets too much traffic. Despite the site always being down, the system works like a charm. If you're ever curious on how to make Yahoo stop referring people to your website… all you have to do is put some ads on your site from Google. I signed up for Google Ads, and within 2 days, my traffic from Yahoo went from about 40 hits a day down to 0. Whoa…. their search bot must be a little sensitive to that sort of thing. Note to self: if you put ads on your site from Google, at least program the page not to display the things if they're referred from Yahoo. Since I'm not that smart, I just took the ads off. Nobody was clicking them anyway.
Too bad Yahoo doesn't seem to want to advertise on my site. Go figure. "We don't want them to do it, but we don't want to either." Seems like a double standard, but whatever.
