I think it'd be handy to have something like if only to try to reduce wear on an existing handle, and potentially distribute weight more evenly. The time requirement to make this is a bit hefty, but might be worth it. #
Gorgeous wave photography. I know the name of my site is a play on a words, but I still find incredible beauty in the sea/surf/ocean. #
Utah now penalizes a texting driver who causes a fatality as harshly as a drunken driver who kills someone. Since I live in the state and know some people who lost their son (who was on his way home from his son's soccer game, sitting at a stoplight and got rear-ended) to a teenager who was texting and driving, I find this especially applicable. Full-blown negligence. #
For the day when I have room to store something like this... I can't help but flag this idea. #
I love this. I love Lance Armstrong's story, and for years I have proudly shown my support for him, The Lance Armstrong Foundation, and all those living with cancer and its impacts. What an inspiring person and video. #
Charming concept and illustrations by Sutasinee C. Seitz encouraging family togetherness through camping. I've always enjoyed camping, and think if I were a kid I'd totally want one of these kits, with spare marshmallows and spare matches… and a knife, and rocks to throw, a good pad to sleep on, and a deck of cards. #
I'm not one for political commentary, but I've been very aware of the issues going on in Iran lately, especially as I've read 1776 and John Adams, and with the recent anniversary of the Tiananmen Square protests/massacre. My thoughts about what's been going on, or at least how it's been described, let me fairly strongly agree with the piece, but especially the quote in the article by Michael McFaul while on the National Security Council:
In retrospect, all revolutions seem inevitable. Beforehand, all revolutions seem impossible.
I'm very interested to see how this whole thing plays out. #
A fairly straight-forward way to remove rust from items. I have a couple things I'd like to try this out on, since it sounds plausible. I'd say I'm bookmarking this more for future reference, as opposed to thinking it's a really cool read. #
Very cool photo, and within traveling distance. I really need to visit those parks. #
Yet again, I love the old school design on these things. Too bad we only get fugly tags on our bag these days. #
