I love rhubarb, but not to the point that I'd want to marry it. Okay, maybe I just really like rhubarb. No matter what, my hope is that by posting this here, it might just help these delicious-looking bars to appear in my home in the near future. Maybe warm. Maybe with a scoop of ice cream. Please? #
Recently I visited the Columbia Restaurant in St. Augustine, Florida, and was fortunate to have somebody suggest this salad for my meal. To my surprise and pleasure, they give the recipe away on their own website. If I'm ever there again, I'd still order it (and get the shrimp like I did the first time). #
While I'm on the topic of what I'd like, I'd really like to eat some of these. When I was young my mother would make a variation on these, which I thoroughly enjoyed. This particular recipe has some differences which I could really get behind (no paraffin wax in the chocolate, for starters). #
I've had this page opened in a tab of my browser for the past two months, because I keep wanting to make it. It reads like a delicious recipe, and easy enough anybody could do it. Sign me up. #
I've tried (unsuccessfully) to make one, and generally prefer a fried egg over easy... but for some reason I keep being drawn towards poached eggs. Now I have yet another technique to try. Hint: wrap the egg in microwaveable clingwrap before putting it in water. #
I know at least one Pop-Tart lover who would probably love to eat these, but is too lazy to make them. Well, if you include me in that, then there's two. #
Eggs poached in a spicy tomato sauce? We will be making this in my home. It looks delicious. #
Bust out your stash of unused mason jars (the shorter, wider variety), and make a pie in a jar. Somebody at some point told me about these, but didn't have a recipe. This appears to be pretty straight-forward, and easily adaptable to other recipes. This just might get printed out for Maria. #
A recipe with an integrated timeline and timer... to make sure things turn out just right and at the right time. I'd be curious to see if these have multi-recipe helpers... because for me its tougher to time multiple things to be ready at the same time. Either way, pretty slick. #
Only once before have we used any kind of starter in our home, and it was originally given to us by somebody else. I'm extremely tempted to give this a shot. #
