I was in the middle of doing the exact same thing as this guy (copying all of my movies to my computer so they would be accessible via AppleTV... instead of having my kids scratch the discs), and I got to a movie he mentioned - Lord of the Rings (and Dances with Wolves... though my kids don't watch either of those movies). I love named chapters in movies, and wanted to have both a combined file, and have chapters. Simple walk-through right here. The added bonus is him pointing the way to iDentify, since MetaX has become abandonware. #
I love this Dribbble shot/rebound by Pierre Bouttier. The progression of the shots is fun to watch, and I love that Uncle Rico here looks like he may actually be capable of throwing a pigskin a quarter mile, unlike the reality of being unable to throw it a quarter of a football field. #
A fascinating read-through of the title sequence of The Lego Movie. I can only imagine having that many Lego pieces to work with, and being able to spend that much time playing working with them. Admittedly, I just follow the instructions, but I also don't mind if my kids play with them. #
"Hey McFly. I thought I told you never to come in here." This guy got a job as a security guard at Universal Studios when they were filming Back to the Future, and took some photos of the set in both of its versions (1955 and 1985). Very cool. #
For the dozens of times I've watched AIRPLANE! I've never been able to see it on the big screen. I wish I lived in a city/state where they had AMC theaters, just so I could go see one of my favorite movies. I hope my father takes advantage the opportunity. Shirley it's too good to pass up. #
A size comparison of 100 characters from various Pixar films/shorts. I can hear my kids watching WALL E as I type. #
It certainly makes the movie different if this were the case. Either this, or take the version represented on this t-shirt. Both pretty comical. #
I'd love to own a copy of this poster (or even better, to get one without the extra date/time crap on there). It's a great movie, and I think this is an awesome poster. "You killed the car." #
Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre... Gentlemen Broncos. #
The short that plays before UP in theaters. I shouldn't need to tell you what I think of it… but I will. It's great. #
