Amazing how much appearance doesn't change with age. I dig the instruments. #

This one won't be for everyone, but I think it's fun. Chiptuned Beatles music. What's that? Think of old-school sounding video game music... then make the music they're playing The Beatles, then add some kind of (potentially digital) voice track. #
I love this. I really like the band Phoenix. I don't remember how I found them, but their music works well for me. La Blogotheque got their hands on the band in Paris, and recorded three mini performances by the EiffelI Tower, on a tour bus, and under a random bridge. I love the informality of the performances, the questionable video style, and the pureness of a street performance (or three). I wish they made a full acoustic album. That'd be fun. #
A mash-up/mix of Beatles music (pre/post break-up) charaded as an actual album released by The Beatles in an alternate universe/dimension (which you can download, free). It's interesting to listen to, but I find it doesn't match The Beatles style. My favorite mashup to date of Beatles music has to be The Grey Album. #
Yeah, the lyrics are just that unique… not. #
For the audiophile and Beatles fan in you, Andy Baio found some analysis of the original multi-track master recordings. Very interesting to hear the various pieces. I'd love to hear more of this. If anything, download the track for Come Together, because you know you know that song. #
A fascinating look into the factory that makes the same classic guitar The Beatles used. Don't miss parts 2 and 3 of the tour. #
I've been following this project on Kickstarter since its inception, and was very interested to see how it would turn out. Although I'm not a Miles Davis super-fan, this creation is a fabulous rendition, and I think a great tribute (albeit modern and geek chic) to the jazz master. #
I'm very late to this one (saved it to review at a later date... and that date finally came). Weezer songs and video game sound chip tunes, all mashed up into what would only be one of the most awesome soundtracks to an 8-bit video game ever. My personal favorites are 4 (with human vocals), and 7 (sans vocals). Very cool. Very geek chic. #
Add this to the list. This video shows more what the gameplay will look like. I'm thrilled they've historically represented the band members, venues and general feeling that each of the songs and albums had. I tend to feel extremely sorry for people who despise, dislike, or don't fully appreciate the impact The Beatles had on modern music. Basically I just think it shows ignorance… but that's a different rant for a different day. #
