“In contrast to ‘normal’ people, engineers have rational objectives for social interactions:
- Get it over with as soon as possible
- Avoid getting invited to something unpleasant
- Demonstrate mental superiority and mastery of all subjects.”

A perfectly illustrated relation between a sense of humor and drama. #
A blog is a a broadcast, not a publication. If it stops moving, it dies. - Andrew Sullivan. Personally, I've let more than one die. <sigh> #
A highlight article about an upcoming book that dissects marketing built into menus. I'd love to read something like this, but more in line with web design, and marketing products or services there. Fascinating, nonetheless. Apparently I need to arrange stuff better. #

A fascinating look into the factory that makes the same classic guitar The Beatles used. Don't miss parts 2 and 3 of the tour. #
Master yourself and you'll master school as well. Understand the rewards of sacrifices, get your desires and emotions in check and you'll do better. Sent to me by my mother. (goes perfectly with the video I posted as well) #

How freaking cool is this? Really simple instructions on how to make your own old school wooden wax seal. I would imagine this would be a rarity to use, but still would be pretty cool to have (like an embosser). #
Utah now penalizes a texting driver who causes a fatality as harshly as a drunken driver who kills someone. Since I live in the state and know some people who lost their son (who was on his way home from his son's soccer game, sitting at a stoplight and got rear-ended) to a teenager who was texting and driving, I find this especially applicable. Full-blown negligence. #
