The White Album is a great album, and generally a pleasure to listen to. I know some people love Revolution 9, but I tend to think it sucks. #

I enjoy the game, though I hardly ever play it because it tends to put people in a bad mood. In this circular design for their 75th anniversary, I think the larger (former corner) spaces on the board will help certain sides or stretches of the board to be easily recognized. Not sure how I feel about the digital banker. #
Cleveland.com gets a rare interview with the creator of Calvin & Hobbes - one of my favorite comic strips. His answers aren't very long, and he comes off a little harsh, but that has an added touch of charm to a creative genius like him. Still, interesting to read. "I think some of the reason 'Calvin and Hobbes' still finds an audience today is because I chose not to run the wheels off it." #
This is one of my favorites, in fact, the whole series stretching from 1/27/10 through 1/30/10 is even better now that I'm a parent. Thanks to digital cameras we no longer run out of film, but it's still a challenge to get kids to cooperate while taking pictures. #
“The more limited a product’s functionality, the easier one can master it. And feeling like a master of your tools is a wonderful thing.” Something I completely agree with, and could probably incorporate a bit more into some of the things I create. Additionally, I really liked the article (as well as his unique presentation style). #
2XL, please. #
Bust out your stash of unused mason jars (the shorter, wider variety), and make a pie in a jar. Somebody at some point told me about these, but didn't have a recipe. This appears to be pretty straight-forward, and easily adaptable to other recipes. This just might get printed out for Maria. #
Site of a new (to me) designer and illustrator, Darren Drew. I particularly like the retro, yet approachable feel to his work. It makes me want to try to make something like that. File this under inspiring. #
Amazing how much appearance doesn't change with age. I dig the instruments. #
Ross Berens has created a beautiful set of posters about our solar system. I particularly like the typesetting on these. They have a retro, but not quite retro feel to them. Just lovely. #
