2009.07.05 Frontrow on Secondary Display (Leopard) - Mac - Apple

My main computer is a MacBook, but I wanted to use the built-in Frontrow application on the secondary monitor (while still having the laptop on/open). This little bit of code made it possible.

defaults write com.apple.frontrow FrontRowUsePreferredDisplayID ?

Just find the display ID, with the displaysInfo utility (RapidShare link). Geeky, and inapplicable to most, but helpful to me. #

Butter, packaged in a ceramic crock, with a wonderfully designed label. I'm not into the whole organic shtick, but I might buy this butter just for the crock and label (which cleanly peels off). #

Something about this draws me in. Up through now my favorite meatballs came from an Alton Brown recipe… but if you could get away with smoking the meatballs, and bringing in some extra smokey flavors of awesomeness… I could be converted. #
