For no reason, and with my kids playing in the next room, I loudly did my most wicked laugh. They didn’t act like anything happened.

@willie And any form of citrus. And soda.

@willie Pro-er tip(s): don’t sneeze while eating. Also, don’t sneeze while drinking.

@taddgiles Agreed. You can disable it in the System Preferences > General > “Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps”

@cliftonite Sure thing. I figured your RT was pretty much just for me to see. You don’t consort with many Windows users on Twitter.

@nicjohnson When visiting the page with Safari (on Windows), it claims the browser doesn’t support HTML5.

via Twitter for Mac in reply to nicjohnson

@nicjohnson Works in FF and Chrome, though failed in Safari 5.1 and IE 8 (I don’t quite want IE 9 yet). Got the same results in Parallels.

@cliftonite Burn an installation DVD out of the .dmg inside the Lion installation package.

@nicjohnson I’ve got a non-virtualized Windows 7 64-bit box, if you’re still looking.

@mezzoblue It’s weird to think about it, but they’ve just made the scroll wheel interact with the _content_ instead of the scroll bars.

@cliftonite Be careful if you self-host, since your ISP may raise your rates (also, keep in mind a static IP, power, and connection uptime).

@itdnext Valid points. As an organization I think they’re doing better, but that vision doesn’t always go to their developers^3 ;)

@itdnext I’m a SSRS/IS/AS geek, but see the beauty of a non-MS-centric world.

@itdnext I can understand the limitations, and their complaints, but in general they were obviously very uneducated about jquery.

via Twitter for Mac in reply to itdnext

Listening to C# and .NET programmers talk about how much they don’t like jquery. Then again, they like C# and .NET.

@PattiAnastasia Where’d you get the recipe? Just last weekend we made fresh raspberry ice cream from Cooks Illustrated (it’s fab)

@johndilworth @taddgiles True. I just think of them when I think _responsive_ web design (not necessarily web design itself)

via Twitter for Mac in reply to johndilworth

@willie True. I’m already formulating my battle plan for ripping the rest of my CDs. Once it was announced I knew I’d go for it.

@willie @amazonmp3 Amen. Past purchases should show up automatically.

via Twitter for Mac in reply to willie

@taddgiles Lots of the web is in need of a responsive refresh. We can’t all be @beep, @adactio, @cameronmoll or @zeldman

@taddgiles Well, not the whole site, but certainly that link (which on second glance isn’t tumblr, my bad)

via Tweetbot for iOS

@taddgiles Have you ever looked at your Tumblr on an iPhone? Not good.

I miss HomestarRunner.com

@palombo Re: Muppets Star Wars. Beaker would be a great wookie, but I think the Swedish chef would be a hilarious chancellor.
